Brad
Definition:
Brad (nail) A small finishing nail up to 1" long with a rounded head (brad head) for nail concealment.
Brad (head) The brad head is rounded for nail concealment and is found on finishing nails and brads. Usually it has a small indent in the middle of the head. This is to help prevent a nail set from slipping off while 'punching' the nail below the surface.
