Word: PVC

Definition: Polyvinyl chloride.

A common thermoplastic resin, used in a wide variety of manufactured products, including rainwear, garden hoses, phonograph records, and floor tiles.

A plastic made from the gaseous chemical vinyl chloride. PVC is used to make pipes, records, raincoats and floor titles.
