Buildeazy Newsletter September 2009 - A request to re-subscribe

Hello, everyone and welcome to the September edition of the Buildeazy Newsletter.

Please note: This will be the last letter sent out to the Buildeazy Mailing List via this mailer. To receive any future newsletters you will need to re-subscribe . Please read down for more information. If you do not wish to re-subscribe to our new mailer - Simply take no action and you will receive no further correspondence from us.

Why the need to re-subscribe?

It's been quite a while since we sent out a newsletter - our last one was in February!
Sending out newsletters to our many subscribers via our very slow and outdated mailer has become a bit of a chore...to say the least! And the issues are only compounding with our ever-increasing mailing list.
We now have a new mailer and we'll be able to send out regular newsletters which will keep you informed, with a lot less hassle.
But...
We have to move everyone from the old mailer to the new mailer. And because of a double opt-in confirmation feature in the new mailer, only you can make that move.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO RECEIVE FUTURE BUILDEAZY NEWSLETTERS: Please re-subscribe to our new mailer. You can do so here www.buildeazy.com/mailing_list.html

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE REMOVED FROM THE BUILDEAZY MAILING LIST: No further action is required by you. (Your details will not be moved over to the new mailer, and you won't receive any future newsletters.)

The last letter from this Mailer.

We have now updated our antiquated mailer, to a new mailer with a double opt-in confirmation feature.
This means that when someone subscribes to the new mailing list, they will immediately be sent an email asking for confirmation. They simply click on the link provided in that email to confirm - hence the double opt-in.
The advantages are: It pretty much guarantees that only you alone can subscribe or unsubscribe your email address, and spam will be minimized. With the new system, we will send out a letter every single time a new project is posted online.
Unfortunately, we are unable to transfer members listed in our old mailer to the new mailer because of the double opt-in confirmation feature. Some of you have been with us for quite a while and we wouldn't want to lose you, so please re-subscribe to the new mailer - it only takes a minute!
You can re-subscribe here www.buildeazy.com/mailing_list.html

Projects posted since the last letter!

Since the last letter there have been four projects posted online.

How to make a wooden sliding gate. www.buildeazy.com/workshop/sliding-gate-1.html
How to make kids bunk beds. www.buildeazy.com/workshop/bunk-bed-1.html
How to make a kids bed. www.buildeazy.com/workshop/bed-1.html
How to make a relaxing garden lounger. www.buildeazy.com/workshop/garden-lounge-1.html

A concrete chair, a royal chair and a playhouse coming soon!

There are currently three projects on the go, all of which are being built as you read this newsletter. Once they are finished and the prose is written, they will be posted online.

A concrete chair. Over time we have had many requests for concrete furniture.
A Royal Chair. This is a solid rustic chair and is based on a chair spotted in the yard at Nottingham Castle. It will look super in the garden!
A playhouse. Solely brought about because of the granddaughter's sixth birthday coming up.
To be notified when these projects go online be sure to re-subscribe here: www.buildeazy.com/mailing_list.html

A Submitted Joke! from Reagan

THREE MEN AND A RIVER

Three men wanted to cross a wide and fast flowing river.
The first prayed to God for some strength. He swam across the river with some effort.
The second prayed to God for some tools. He made a boat and rowed across the river with some effort.
The third prayed to God for some brains. He turned into a woman, walked a few yards and crossed the bridge.
Ouch - that one hurt;-)

What happens if I don't subscribe to the new Buildeazy Mailing List?
