Buildeazy Newsletter June 26th 2008
Dear Subscriber
Welcome to the June edition of the Buildeazy newsletter.
It's been a while between drinks...in fact the last newsletter was almost four months ago. Since then there's been only five new projects posted online because basically we've been doing all the boring stuff - that is, site maintenance.
One thing which has been consistent is people sending in photos of completed Buildeazy projects, all of which are greatly appreciated.
Any photos and comments sent in are a great help to other DIYers who may be contemplating starting a project.
You can see some of the submitted photos here www.buildeazy.com/photos1.html
The latest posted projects in the Buildeazy website!
How to make a set of wide retaining steps.
These retaining wall steps are made up of a series of 100mm x 100mm (4" x 4") posts laid horizontally on firmly shaped ground.
The steps are easy to make and give a nice solid effect which becomes any garden.

How to make a low garden gate which can't be easily opened by kids.

A kids multipurpose easel. Easy to build and fun to use.
This is a good example of a simple, easy-to-make kid's easel which can be used to accommodate a blackboard, a whiteboard, a clipboard and an artist's canvas.

BROKEN LAWN MOWER
When our lawn mower broke and wouldn't run, my wife kept hinting to me that I should get it fixed. But somehow I always had something else to take care of first: the car, the motorcycle, boat, e-mail and other stuff - always something more important to me than fixing the mower.
Finally she thought of a clever way to make her point.
When I arrived home one day I found her seated in the tall grass, busily snipping away with a tiny pair of sewing scissors. I watched silently for a short time and then went into the house. I was gone only a few minutes.
When I came out again I handed her a toothbrush. "When you finish cutting the grass," I said, "you might as well sweep the driveway."
The doctors say I will walk again but I will always have a limp.....
