This was actually the first time that I have actually made a work project. I had a rough start as I was getting used to what type of wood to pick out and how the final layout was going to turn out, but both my wife and I were very happy with the results. The plans were easy to follow and I will continue to use your site for more new ideas. The new swing bench looks great in our front porch. Thanks. Rafael Rivera

Re Wendy House

Thank you for the Wendy House plans. I followed the same basic idea, but made it bigger (6x9 plus porch, and 9 feet high). Ok, I went completely overboard, building it on a concrete footing with block paver porch, insulated and finished interior walls, full electric, carpet, air conditioning.

Re Wendy House

Hi There. Attached is a version of the Wendy house. I used your template then changed the scale to an 8X8 house with a wrap around deck. My daughter Loves it. Thanks for the help.

Re Hexagonal Picnic Table

Great plan for a picnic table.
I used treated deck boards for the top. The last board needed to be ripped and rounded over with a router, but it kind of adds a trip effect to the finished project. Also securing the spokes of the table to a piece of plywood prior to installing the seats or tops helps to ensure they will stay in place during construction.
The distance between spokes is equal to the radius of the table. My kids love the large table. The extra blocking on the lower spoke and blocking under the table allowed drilling a hole for and umbrella.
