Re Arbor Project

I just completed the Arbor with pitched roof.
Really pleased with the final result, is being used as entrance to the garden from yard / shed area.
Over time the hedge will grow around it.
Working on this type of project for the first time and with no previous carpentry experience,
it took a few hours over several weekends, with help from my Dad more >>

Re Kid's Picnic Table Project

I just wanted to say thanks for the plans. They were well laid out, easy to follow and produced a great final product.
My husband and I decided to tackle a wood property fence after Hurricane Ike

Re Simple Garden Chair Project

I made two of these 'simple garden chairs' last summer and find them to be a good sturdy design, and a fun project to build.
I especially like the support structure of the frame, the way the legs, seat and back go together.
I cut a hand-hold into the top back slat, partly functional, mostly decorative.

Re Dog House Project

Hi there, Thank you so much for the dog house plans. They were very easy to follow and modify.
As my dog is just a little gal I reduced the size of the project, Added a shake roof and cedar trim.

Re Easel Project

Thought I'd send along a copy of my easel I built from your plans.
Made a couple mistakes when drilling the hole for the legs (forgot to lay the legs and the back leg on the floor with the angled cuts pressed against the back leg)
so my holes for the front legs didn't exactly match up when I passed or I should say attempted to pass the bolt through.
Rectified that mistake though and will cover the bolt holes (counter sunk the bolt head and nut) with wooden appliques

Re Dog House Project

The instructions were great! materials were all easy to find, my girlfriend and I managed to build it in about 6 hours,
the only modification we made was the addition of an asphalt roof, a solid plywood floor and a weather resistant dog door rather than the open door.

Re Dog House Project

Hi I used your plan but decided that asphalt bricks are better than wooden roof.
Lucianna -our Labrador- really enjoys it. I painted it red as our football team Olympiakos!!!
